Salted Fiber Works was entrusted by DAMAC Group to execute the landscape development works for a future luxury resort property on the reclaimed island of Bolidhuffaru.
The project involved transforming a newly reclaimed island into a functional and visually refined resort landscape. The landscape design was provided by the client, and our role focused on precise execution in line with design intent, technical requirements, and site conditions.
Following a prolonged suspension due to COVID-19 travel and operational restrictions, we successfully restarted and delivered the project, coordinating resources and logistics to bring the site back into active development.
Working on a reclaimed island presented unique challenges related to soil conditions, access, and logistics. Salted Fiber Works applied its experience in island-based construction and landscaping to ensure smooth execution while maintaining alignment with the approved design.
Despite the interruption caused by the pandemic, the project was efficiently re-mobilized, ensuring continuity, quality control, and timely progress toward completion.
